Dropping Connection: Playlist has not been updated

For a while I have been using two DVRs in order to re-map channel numbers, the TVE sources from "DVR1" are piped to "DVR2" via a custom source M3U playlist in MPEG-TS format.

This has been working great until recently, I am constantly loosing connection with this error message...

Couldn't generate stream playlist for ch135-dANY-ip10.10.10.1: Playlist has not been updated in 20.845912378s

The error is always 20.XXX seconds and seems to be happening across all channels. I have submitted diagnostics under user DCLeslie as well. Have there been any changes to how the DVR caches the TS segments that would be causing this issue to only occur since the 1/23 DVR release?

Sounds like HLS not MPEGTS

The custom playlist is in MPEG-TS format with text formatted as follows...

#EXTM3U

#EXTINF:-1 channel-id="ABC" tvg-id="104" tvg-chno="104" tvg-logo="https://tmsimg.fancybits.co/assets/s28708_h3_aa.png?w=360&h=270" tvc-guide-stationid="20494" tvg-name="WSOCDT" group-title="HD",ABC
http://10.10.10.50:8081/devices/ANY/channels/9.1/stream.mpg?format=ts

Why use 2 DVRs to do this? Create a single M3U playlist/custom channel that points back to the same server, and give it highest priority. Replace all of the IP addresses in your remap playlist with localhost/127.0.0.1 and it will work fine. You'll get a minimal hiccup, but it will be less than you are already experiencing.

I have done this for years with my parents' DVR install without issue.

It must be an issue with the TVE streams, I have my phone connected directly to the "backend" DVR and it is still dropping the connection. DNS has been changed to my ISP server to eliminate that as a cause...

I am also having this issue. Connections are dropping randomly with this error.
This is happening on both HLS and MPEGTS streams. I've tried both.
[HLS] Couldn't generate stream playlist for ch9040-dM3U-OTA-0d3d66411708: Playlist has not been updated in 20.51070579s

After many tests, this seems to only occur, to me, when using an HLS stream.
I loaded 2 separate m3u's into channels streaming the same channel, one set to HLS and one using MPEGTS.
I played both channels as the same time and the HLS stream would randomly error out with
[HLS] Couldn't generate stream playlist for... while the MPEGTS stream played fine.
Any ideas what could be going on?
