DSM 7 Help

I've been putting off upgrading to DSM 7.0 since I'm not too familiar with Docker and the fact Channels DVR wasn't technically designed for it. With the new install package, I decided to upgrade.

I'm having a ton of issues now.

First, I updated to DSM 7.0 thinking I'd just leave the original Channels DVR package alone. Everything seemed fine, but it wasn't working watching TV from a computer. So I decided to uninstall and reinstall the latest DSM 7.9 compatible package.

I tried doing a restore, but Channels couldn't see any of previous backups for some reason. I could see the folders. Channels wouldn't recognize any of the files inside. I thought it was wise to delete all but one of the backups and now I'm afraid my backups are gone. That's fine. I'll start from scratch. I imported by HDHRs and started to sign into TVE. I get the below error. Any ideas why?

I'm having a permission issues as well. I can't point Channels DVR to the USB drive attached to my NAS. I've gone through the Permission settings and I'm allowing my user name as the Admin and the "channels" System Internal User to have both Read/Write access. Still not allowed to repoint the DVR location from the NAS to the USB drive. Any help is appreciated.

I'm definitely regretting this decision.

Figured out the permissions. Even though I gave channels access to the USB drive, I still needed to grant permission to the actual Channels DVR folder. That seems to solve that problem. I still can't import from TVE though without getting that error posted above.
