DTV Streaming DVR requirements?

I'm very much closer to leaving Comcast CableCARD and I've got a DVR question for DTV Streaming users. Is DVR service only available to the 'account holder' and on the 'home network' only? I've seen comments indicating yes and some that say a 'shared' user could create a 'DVR profile'.

I'm a single elderly user who lives alone, I see many interested parties for sharing and that could work for me I believe if a 'shared' user could create and use the DVR function.

I have multiple Osprey and have considered using them in some fashion on a 'subscription' but since I stream so much content maybe a 'shared' DTV Streaming could work for me for just live TV.

Does DTV VOD work when a 'shared user' using a 'browser'? That could also maybe do.

I was waiting for 100 looks but at 8 days and 99 I thought it maybe appropriate to 'bump' this request. I'm interested basically in just knowing whether DVR function/profile is available to only users on 'home network' or if available while using Osprey/Gemini while traveling or on a remote location?

Your questions don't seem to be related to Channels DVR so maybe that's why you haven't gotten any replies.

This community is all about topics related to Channels DVR.

However, I know there are Channels DVR users who are subscribed to DirecTV Stream. I'm sure they will be nice enough to answer your questions, or at least point you to a good resource to find the answers (probably on the DirecTV website or forums, I would guess).
