Yep. v2021.02.09.0017 if it matters.
"Tags": ["CC","HD 1080i","HDTV","New","Stereo","Stereo"],

Is this a normal recording? Or import? Or manual curl recording?

I don't see how it could have ended up with duplicate labels..

Normal scheduled recordings from passes.
Here's what I find strange. I recorded these on both my Nas's, the one with tag issues was from TVE, the other from HDHR cable as seen here no tag issues

Something I noticed...

Normally in the log right after
[DVR] Recording for job ...
is the line
[DVR] Refreshing metadata for ...

I don't see the Refreshing metadata line for these recordings.

Does the raw airing in the json also have double
tags
?

Yes, in "qualifiers"

Just wanted to add that the only difference between these recording made on my two NAS's (besides one from TVE and other from cable) is that the TVE recordings have 10 second start and end padding, so the TVE recordings started 10 seconds before the cable recordings. They were all recorded from my local PBS station.

I did a Refresh Metadata for one of the recordings and it still has the duplicate tags.

Appears to be a guide issue. Here's a few from todays TVE guide.

Young Sheldon and Jazz are fine on my Locast listings.

So it's obvious something is stripping out the tags DD 5.1 and DVS from TVE schedule info causing the last # of tags listed to duplicate (where # is number of tags removed). This doesn't happen on my HDHR Cable or Locast listings.
Examples;
CC|DVS|HD 1080i|HDTV|Stereo (Original guide info)
CC|HD 1080i|HDTV|Stereo|Stereo (TVE guide info with DVS tag removed)

CC|DD 5.1|DVS|HD 1080i|HDTV|New|Stereo (Original guide info)
CC|HD 1080i|HDTV|New|Stereo|New|Stereo (TVE guide info with DD5.1 and DVS tags removed)

Nice catch. I made some fixes in the latest build to fix this.

Updated to 2021.02.12.2220 and did a Delete and Recreate Guide Database.
Looks fixed :+1:
