DVR and guide issues

some issues i found on the Channels App today.

I've seen some weird instances on one of my ATV4.

today when i open up the Channels App [loading was quick], there were no guide information on majority of the channels. unknown sa written on a lot channels, while others are blank and can't be access [this is true on different occassion when the guide info is blank, channel cannot be accesed in the guide grid...only on the drop down channel scroll.

here's a picture:

so i exited the app and restarted it too. now this time, loading was about 13 seconds, the DVR tab is gone but the guide is now fully populated. all channels seem to be complete in their guide info. see picture:

now this tells me, a regular Channels app [without the DVR tab or function] seems to have no issue with the guide and the full guide displays. Channels app with DVR on the other hand seems to be having issues with getting the complete guide from the downloads.

now, i existed and restarted the app and also included ATV4. after loading, which is quick again, the DVR tab is now again present but guide info is either unknown or just blank:

So far everyone affected is in EST. I’m in PST and have not seen any issues. If you are not in EST and having issues, let me know.

Add me to the list also. Still out. I can still have the Dvr. I am in the eastern time zone also. Log shows it attempting to fetch getting nothing I guess

This sounds like a different issue. Please post your log and screenshot of settings in a new thread.

All back. I had the exact screens provided in this forum. Did nothing

Loading now down to about 7 seconds. Guide still not fully populated per the screenshot:

My cable box guide is complete and no issue. Windows media center (using hdhomerun) guide is complete too.

Without the guide info, I can't initiate a record.

I am having the same issue. The only thing to add is that the guide isn’t working for the web up either. Uploading…

Have tracked this down to an issue with our guide provider. Will contact them when the work week starts tomorrow to figure out how we can resolve the issue. It seems to have started last week, since we had been alpha testing for months beforehand without issues.

I’m having identical issues in CST

Same issues here in PST. I thought it was something I did, but all I’m seeing is “Unknown” in the tvOS Channels app. And nothing is showing up for me in the Web UI version of the guide. Getting “No channels match HD”.
