It's not starting up when my computer starts up. I can reinstall it, I just want to know if I'll lose my settings or not. And if so, if I can save them beforehand somehow.
You can copy ~/Library/Application Support/ChannelsDVR just in case and also see if there are errors at the bottom of data/channels-dvr.log
Then reinstall the DVR, and after install open http://127.0.0.1:8089/restore
For the restore you can navigate to your usb volume and click into DVR then Database
