DVR connecting to log.tailscale.io?

I see in my DNS logs the Channels DVR is every 10 min or so, connecting to "log.tailscale.io".
Why? What is this? I do not recall seeing it in my logs before.
DVR is on Pi4 ver 2022.0131.0323 for OS, 2022.02.03.2057 sever.

tailscale is installed on the image. It can be configured over SSH.

If it is not configured and remote access is NOT enabled, then why is it communicating with their servers and sending logs?
