Every time I click configure on mu computer, the channels dvr will disconnect from the WD cloudd NSA, I have to go back to my cloud and disable the channels dvr set up and enable it again, but this loosed all my recordings, is there any way to fix this ? It will just go default to my computer and it will stop playing the channels
Can you take a photo of what happens after you click Configure and it's not working?
This is what it looks like when Its configured and below I'm attaching the picture of what it looks like after I click configure
Can you click support > Submit Diagnostics at the top right
Does checking the box to the left of DVR in your second screenshot make things work again?
You don't have to click Configure again, just add a bookmark for the page after you get it working.
Ok, I submitted diagnostics, clicking the box does not make the dvr work again, and I'm not sure what you mean with "Add a bookmark" for it to connect to my NAS, I have to disable the channel configuration in my cloud WD page and then enable it again but that deletes everything and it makes me add my direct tv again
Okay thanks, I see the error:
2020/12/06 14:17:59.630400 [ERR] Failed to read directory /Users/dannyflores/Library/Containers/com.wdc.WDDesktop.WDDesktopFinderSync/Data/volumes/76bd1640-5ed5-4da0-a909-ddc1a44d72f1/Daniel's My Cloud Home/DVR recordings : open /Users/dannyflores/Library/Containers/com.wdc.WDDesktop.WDDesktopFinderSync/Data/volumes/76bd1640-5ed5-4da0-a909-ddc1a44d72f1/Daniel's My Cloud Home/DVR recordings : device not configured
It looks like you have installed the dvr on your Mac and that's what isn't working?
It's also installed on the WD.
Are you clicking Configure in the Mac menu bar or on the MyCloud app?
I was unaware of that, I just want it to be installed on my WD, and not on my MacBook
Run the installer from getchannels.com/dvr-server/#macos and select Uninstall then quit the installer.
Then click Configure from home.MyCloud.com and submit diagnostics from there
When I try to run the installer, it asks if I want to quit, uninstall, or stop the dvr, do I click uninstall ?
Yes click uninstall. The tv icon in your Mac menu bar (near the clock) should disappear.
Ok, I uninstalled it then ran the installer and have sent you diagnostics
The diagnostics I got were from your Mac again.
If it's uninstalled now you need to find the dvr web interface on your WD and submit diagnostics from there
Ok, I have done that and sent diagnostics
Okay that came from the right place. So now on that same site go to Settings and finish setup and it should work fine from now on.
