Deleted the Packers game which I had set to pad by 90 minutes. The tuner is still in use.
The DVR settings page shows activities of the Packers game (which it shouldn’t) and the Steelers game (as it should).
Checking the Extend itself, it show both tuners locked by the IP address of the NAS/DVR.
This should be easy to reproduce.
You can stop the job on the Schedule page. The DVR shouldn’t let you delete until recording is stopped- that’s a bug.
The tuner was freed at the originally planned end time of 4:30 (+90 minutes).

I can confirm that ending the recording early on schedule page does free the tuner immediately. Just deleting the recording itself does nothing
