DVR error logs - how to stop?

I submitted this on Tuesday: Help with DVR Diagnostic Log 4e8c45c6-dfa4-4b61-af62-850bf4c1feac - The email on Tuesday described the issue and the troubleshooting that I've done.

As of today, my DVR is still showing these errors. How can I get them to stop?

2022/09/30 16:50:03.838091 [SCN] Reprocessing metadata for TV episode #5524 The Sarah Jane Adventures\Season 4\The Sarah Jane Adventures - s04e05 - Death of the Doctor Part 1.mp4: 675858089 != 0
2022/09/30 16:50:03.964885 [ERR] Could not probe file 5524: exit status 1

Please open powershell and paste this command, then copy/paste the output back to us:

c:\programdata\channelsdvr\latest\ffprobe.exe "G:\DVR\TV\The Sarah Jane Adventures\Season 4\The Sarah Jane Adventures - s04e05 - Death of the Doctor Part 1.mp4"

G:\DVR\TV\The Sarah Jane Adventures\Season 4\The Sarah Jane Adventures - s04e05 - Death of the Doctor Part 1.mp4: No such file or directory

This is the return from the command.

I know I did a prune deleted when I removed the D drive that was failing after I removed the drive as an alternate dvr path.

So what next?

more info - the recording in question was a playon import also on the D drive. So that drive contained an older database and Playon recording imports. The prune that I did was on the import D directory which I also trashed.

Ok so is that particular mp4 file present somewhere or not at all?

It must exist, because the log shows 675mb size. Can you run ffprobe.exe from my original command but pass in the correct path and see what error its outputting.

Sorry about the confusion.
I've spent a little bit of time on this every few days for awhile. I think I moved the playon recordings to a new drive, now the H drive. This particular episode is in the library:
H:\video/The Sarah Jane Adventures\Season 4\The Sarah Jane Adventures - s04e05 - Death of the Doctor Part 1.mp4

0 sec

But does not play. Other episodes in the library show the correct length, but do not play.
I'll run the command on the dvr with the correct path and send output.

Try playing with VLC or other program on your computer. It may be those files are corrupted and not playable? Or some kind of permissions issue on them. The error in your logs is because its trying to find the audio/video information on that file and keeps failing. That's probably why playing the recording also fails.

here is the output
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> c:\programdata\channelsdvr\latest\ffprobe.exe "H:\video\TV\The Sarah Jane Adventures\Season 4\The Sarah Jane Adventures - s04e05 - Death of the Doctor Part 1.mp4"
H:\video\TV\The Sarah Jane Adventures\Season 4\The Sarah Jane Adventures - s04e05 - Death of the Doctor Part 1.mp4: No such file or directory

VLC sees it but doesn't play. I don't see any errors in VLC tho. VLC and Channels do play another episode from that same folder.

So if I trash that file from the imports, should that stop the errors?

The D drive was failing slowly and I copied the playon files to the H drive. The old DVR files on the drive would not copy to the H drive. So I think I've lost them. I may try a copy via the cmd prompt
one day. Thanks!

Yea if you can't play via VLC then best to trash it

I wound up removing the entire H:\video from TV imports. Prune Deleted. Then rebooted the PC. The errors have stopped.
Thanks for the help.
