DVR failing to record/play

This has happened a few times lately. My Channels DVR records a full show, but when I try to play it back the recording fails.

We recorded "90 Day Fiancé The Other Way" tonight. When I try to play on the Apple TV and iPhone app, it just gives me a blank screen. On a browser, I get "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported."

Based on the channel numbers it looks like maybe you are using an HDHomeRun Prime? If so, are you able to turn the channels using the HDHR app? Would be worth checking to make sure the prime is working properly.

I am using a Prime. But watching live tv works fine. This issue is only with recording.

Hmmm the log doesn’t give a lot of information. What kind of device are you running the DVR server on? What kind of storage is used for recordings? Is there plenty of free space? Have you already tried restarting the DVR device to see if that fixes the issue?

It is running in a Synology DS 918+ with over 2 terabytes free. Storage is WD Red HDDs.

No, I have not restarted but I guess I probably should.

I'm sure the devs have a better way of parsing your log file, but the only anomalies I see are the following

Meaning about a second after it was done recording it looks like someone was trying to stream it?
And there is something wrong with the recording.

And is this because you want to watch 90 Day Fiance or because you want to troubleshoot? :wink:
