YES YES YES.
As-is, I wind up going to the share and manually copying it over to my Plex library. This is not ideal; the reason I use Channels over the Plex DVR is Channels handles Closed Captioning extremely well and Plex doesn’t at all, so I have to run ccextractor on the file to make an SRT and get Plex to notice it. PITA, that.
If I could just flag a single episode as “Keep Forever” like I could back in my TiVo days that’d be fantastic. (It should not count against the limits, like “Keep 3” etc.)
I don’t understand what copying over to Plex has to do with the lock feature?
Channels will auto-delete the recording. To preserve it, I add it to my permanent collection. That happens to be in Plex. (ie. “cp DVR/TV/Show/Show.mpg Media/TV/Show/”).
