DVR Guide Manage Lineup with Custom XMLTV

I've merged several of my sources in to a single custom channel source. I'd like to use a combination of sources, some from my XMLTV source and some from Channels.

When I set my primary provider as XMLTV, I can select those channels, BUT I cannot add additional sources.

When I set my primary provider as something Channels provides (UK, for example), I can no longer use any data from my XMLTV file.

In the two attached screenshots, one is something from the "Manage Lineup" view and the other is from the settings screen when choosing source and then "Change Provider".

Is this expected behavior? Is there a good way to use data from both Channels and my XMLTV source?

No you can only have one or the other per source

And no plans to change this? Any plans to provide guide data for other countries? Australia perhaps?

Actually, is it possible to use an M3U source and then a separate XMLTV source that does not currently match up to M3U source. Think Pluto dockers M3U and then using Schedules direct XMLTV file (assuming it had the guide data there) and then matching it all up using Manager Lineup.

I should note that I have tried changing the provider for the guide data, but I still cannot get a list of channels available when using "Manage Lineup". The only channels I see in Manage Lineup are from other sources and not the provider that I just chose.
