DVR is recording the same show that is showing different episodes as one LONG episode. For example on May 31 Channels recorded a 180 min episode of Abandoned although it 4 separate episodes. This is happen numerous times. One day it recorded The Golden Girls for 7 hours as ONE file/episode. Surely, it's not suppose to do that.
I have noticed the same thing happen on more than one occasion too.
I've had that happen also.
The guide data was incorrect and showed 2 or 3 back to back episodes as one long episode resulting in 2-3 hour recordings.
OTA or Cable? Is the guide data generally correct for that channel?
Look in your DVR log around the time of the recording
