Version 2024.05.07.1442 running on MacOS
I added another drive (USB) to the Mac running the DVR, went to the DVR web page, Settings > General > Library Database > Storage Paths. I added the path to the new drive to the Storage Paths list, but I'm not seeing any additional storage show up, even after several hours. What am I doing wrong? Is this even the correct process for adding additional storage? I found another thread that spans 7-8 years, but did not help too much.
Additional Storage is not used for recording Shows/Movies ... You can move recordings to it.
That makes sense, I thought there was a way to increase the recording storage? How is this done?
I am not a Mac guy maybe someone has a way to move recordings. I do it on Windows using ROBOCOPY.
How do I change the storage path for new recordings?
Settings > general > uncheck dvr server > then you can change location

You and "Rice" provided the answer. As usual, I didn't search for the right thing. I had the impression (for some reason) that I could have multiple volumes for recorded programs, so that is what I searched for. I should have asked my wife what to search for...
