I had to remotely power cycle my Shield (using a smart plug) but the DVR now isn't running
Is there any way to remotely enable and/or force it starting after a reboot?
Channels DVR has to run from the internal storage to be able to run on boot.
It is. My external hard drive was reformatted as removable storage before I installed Channels, so it must be but I'll double-check when I get home
I'm getting the feeling that the Shield isn't as reliable as running on my Synology 1520+ NAS, so I may switch to that, although I was looking at saving electricity running costs by not having my NAS on all day (It's about 10x consumption of Shield)
