Question, why do the comskip files remain after the comskip operation completes? Full show files remain there? I gets rather large if I keep my shows for a while. I am using DVR on ubuntu 18.04
I think your seeing links to the actual files. There is only one copy of each recording.

The ChannelsDVR/Logs/recording and ChannelsDVR/Logs/comskip stay until you delete that recording.
I would assume since they don't take much space they're kept for troubleshooting recordings and comskip.
The video.mpg file in the ChannelsDVR/Logs/comskip folers is actually a symbolic link to the actual recording.
