I’ve been using Channels since December and it’s been great! However, starting about two weeks ago whenever I play a show that was recorded on the DVR (WD My Cloud 2TB NAS) it constantly pauses, and then plays a little, and then pauses, plays a little, etc. It happens on my Apple TVs and iPhone and iPad. All my apps are up to date and the drive says it is healthy. Can’t figure out what is going on and it’s driving me nuts trying to watch shows like this. Please help.
Sounds like a network issue. Is your Apple TV on Wi-Fi? Does it have issues streaming live tv too?
It does have issues with live tv. And all my devices are on WiFi including the Apple TVs. That’s part of the appeal to me, being able to place the Apple TVs anywhere in the house. I have both the HDHomeRun tuner and the NAS plugged directly into an Apple Base Station. It worked great for about three months and then stopped. I guess it is a problem with the Base Station?
Yea, try rebooting it.
Also make sure you’re connected to the 5ghz Wi-Fi Network.
