Can the DVR recording be turned off? It seems like when I disable it and at that point it will not allow channels away sign in any longer.
Can you clarify exactly what you are trying to do? It’s not clear.
I want to turn off dvr recording but still be able to access the tv channels on my phone and at home.
By “turn off” do you mean you don’t want to pay a subscription? That is required to do remote viewing and TVE. Without a subscription you can pay for the channels app and watch live TV while at home via an HDHR device, but that’s it.
If you literally don’t want to make recordings, just delete all your passes.
