DVR remote access not working

Hi

I don’t seem to be able to access the DVR features from the iOS app when I’m out and about. Is this how it should behave? I just see the guide and on now.

I’m currently using the beta, if that makes a difference?

I’m having trouble using the web app to access the DVR remotely.

EDIT: I should add that I did the code thing, and it worked for a couple of days but now won’t load.

Any ideas?

The page does load at all.

Yes but there must be some sort of error in your browser? You need to provide more details for us to troubleshoot.

It sounds like you’re using the wrong IP address, or your router isn’t forwarding the port correctly.

No error, it just tries to load and gets stuck.

I copied and pasted the address from the Settings page. Like I said, it worked a couple of days ago.

Nothing has changed with the DVR, so the breaking change is on your network. It’s possible your IP changed (check ipchicken.com) or your router is malfunctioning and the port forward got lost (try unchecking and re-check the remote access box).

Unchecking and checking it again worked!

No, same as it was before.

Okay, then it seems the port forward did not stick. Can you check http://127.0.0.1:8089/nat and let me know if it says "kind":"natpmp" or "kind":"upnp"
