DVR Remote Access Tuner Not Available

I have a question regarding streaming with the Channels DVR while on 4G LTE. When I stop my stream to take a call or read an email, I find that the channel becomes inaccessible for a certain period of time. I’m met with the message “Tuner Not Available”. I’m speculating but it seems like the Tuner is locked, transcoding for a client that has had its connection closed.

Is it possible to add a transcoding timeout? In my experience, a mobile operator will not keep a connection open to a UE without a constant keep alive to a given destination. I’m unsure if the Channels app has the ability to do this in the background. This is the one thing keeping me from ending my subscription to SlingTV, so any help on this topic would be awesome. There are some known issues with remote streaming timeouts which will be addressed next month before we remove the beta/experimental status on the remote access feature.
