DVR Schedule View Option

I don't know if this been asked and answered, but is it possible to have a DVR schedule view similar what Plex has? I went back to Plex for DVR recordings because I schedule a lot of recordings and the calendar view in Plex is easier to see upcoming recordings. Channel's vertical view is a little cumbersome to me. I like to see the full weeks recordings in one view without having to scroll. I understand if this isn't possible. But I thought I ask.

We’ll look into something like this. I get how this would be helpful.

Thank you. I appreciate it.

That does look nice.

Would it be an option or a conversion? DW likes the current presentation especially with a picture of the show's title; in addition with the vertical listing, the font size might be difficult to read on a smaller screen which we watch in the kitchen. I, myself, like the vertical. So if you could choose between either version it would be awesome!

I believe this would be on the server side. Not on the clients. The calendar view would just be for managing DVR recordings on the server.

Please don't lose the current web display, retain as an option. I find that, detailed, layout (ie season, episode, blurb) very helpful.

We wouldn’t remove anything to do this.

Thank you for the Calendar view in the latest pre-release. It works great.

Wow, you beat me to it, heh.

As mentioned, this is available in the latest pre-release:

Looks great!

I'm getting a Javascript error when I click the arrow on the right, to advance ahead, 2 weeks.

Aside from that it seems to be working nicely.

@slampman Try this latest build
@Fofer See if this solves your issue too. If not, please post the JS error.

Solved! :+1:t3:

All good :+1:

Latest version adds recordings to the calendar.

@maddox

Second verse, same as the first. Fix coming in next build.

Absolutely LOVE this new view! Awesome job on this!

Two questions. When you choose to edit a recording in this view, it looks like it's not pulling the current settings for it. The start/end times default to "on time" even though my recording is set at 1 minute early. I realize it's just a place to change them, but for a minute it made think I had my recordings set incorrectly in the pass. It would be great if it actually pulled the current settings.

Also, is there any chance this can be implemented on the clients? It would be awesome to see this view there as well.

Keep up the great work!

Dave
