DVR scheduled movies showing up that i did not set to record

I have a bunch of movies set to record that i did not schedule to record. I'm the only one in the house using Channels DVR so it is a mystery to me as to how the movies got scheduled. I have set them all to skip for now and will keep an eye out to see if anything new shows up.

Interestingly enough this happened after i setup a season pass and it just so happens that the season pass found 13 new episodes which is the same number of items showing up under the DVR schedule.

Yeah, if the movies have the option to “skip” and not “cancel” it means they were set up with a pass. This is definitely weird.

How did you set up this pass? Did you do a search, find Dr. Ken, and create a pass for it? Could you do the search again and look at the upcoming airings it shows for it?

Whoa, I just noticed that your rule says “SeriesID =”, which means it’s nil. So that’s why it’s scheduling all of those movies. They’re the only things that have no SeriesID.

How did you go about making this rule?

I searched for Dr. Ken and created a pass for it. I was able to recreate the issue earlier by deleting and recreating the season pass. This time however when i deleted and recreated the pass it worked properly. I will keep an eye on this and let you know if i see any other oddities.

Ahh that makes sense. I think this issue may have been a hiccup in the program because i didn’t do anything special other than create the series pass. Let me know if you need more logs or if you would like me to try something else.

Did you create the pass on the web admin or via the Apple TV app?

I did it from web admin.

What browser are you using?

Chrome. It is working now and I’ve been able to setup a number of series passes since posting this.

Ok, let us know if it happens again. There might have been a javascript error in the web UI that broke the season pass creator.
