I have noticed the last couple of weeks that shows sort of skip in the middle. I might be missing a few seconds every now and then but it happens several times during the program. Not sure how to fix it.
First step is to check your DVR log and see if there are errors shown from when the recording was happening.
If your DVR computer is on wifi, then you should plug it in instead.
how can I look back? I see the most recent log and I will check that out tonight.

This is the results from last night. Same issues of skipping.
These errors mean that the network connection between your HDHR and DVR is getting dropped in the middle of a recording.
This means your DVR is hitting a network timeout when trying to connect to your HDHR to start a recording.
This one is self-explanatory… there are no available tuners since all are busy.
It seems like there’s a serious network issue between your DVR and HDHR. Are they both plugged into the same switch? I would double check the cables and make sure they are cat6
HDHR is pulled into the Orbi Satellite. This seems to just start happening in last couple of weeks. I can try and restart that satellite. Is there any issues with Orbi?
I’m not familiar with Orbi, but if you’re saying the HDHR is connected to the rest of the network via wifi then that’s not a good idea. You need a wired connection or you will have lots of problems.

The Orbi is a Netgear product. The satellite has a wired connection. This problem just started. Has there been any updates that might have triggered this? Thanks again for all your help.
There have been no updates in this area, and your logs clearly show a networking issue in your setup.

But the satellite is wifi to the rest of the network? That is where the problem is. Try connecting the HDHR, DVR, and ATV all to the same Orbi. (wired)
