EDL File Deletion

I have the option set for Channels to place the EDL files alongside the video files. I noticed when I delete a video from the Channels interface, it doesn't clean up that EDL file. Is there a way to get Channels to clean up these files as well?

EDIT: Looking into this further, it only seems to impact shows that I set to auto delete based on number of episodes. For example, I record the Tonight Show, but tell Channels to only keep 10 episodes, the ones that are auto-deleted leave their EDL files behind

Are you sure about this? The edl file is deleted by the DVR when the mpg is deleted. The only reason the edl would stay is if someone deleted or moved the mpg manually.
