It would be great to be able to end a recording early, for example after 30min, or 30min from the published end time. E.g. for late night shows where you only watch the opening.
I'm going to second this feature request and for the same reason. I like to watch the monologue openings of Late Night with Stephen Colbert and other shows, but don't care to record the entire program every night. It would be nice to be able to just record the first 20 or 30 minutes!
Anybody else? This seems like a really easy to implement feature (just have to be sure people aren't confused: maybe a confirmation box — "This will result in a recording shorter than the selected program. Proceed?" or some such.
