I installed Channels DVR yesterday. During setup, I chose the option to subscribe to Channels Plus. This took me to the getchannels.com website where I entered my payment information. After pressing submit, I was taken back to the original window where I'd selected "Pay now" (or Subscribe, can't remember what it said). That button changed into a spinner, presumably while my payment method was processing.
That spinner kept spinning for over 30 minutes. Meanwhile I received confirmation my payment was processed and the welcome email to Channels. On the stuck page, I had to click somewhere else and try to subscribe again before I was taken to a page showing I already have a subscription.
After that was resolved, I continued with setup and Channels auto discovered my HDHR tuner. The guide scan went from 0 to 99% and then hung on 99% for over 30 minutes. I finally clicked on another DVR tab then back to settings, where it showed the scan had completed more than 30 minutes ago.
I'm not sure what caused these two different dialogs to spin continuously instead of reporting success. I have a pihole, but it wasn't showing anything being blocked while the spinning was going on. I can't think of anything else on my end that might have been causing the issue. Firefox 91.0.2 (64-bit) on Windows 10.
