I saw a movie in the guide that I wanted to record but 30 minutes had elapsed.
It would be a nice to have the client application ask if I’d like to set up a record request for any future showings using the current program information.

Agreed, this would be great.
Similarly if I am watching a live TV show, an episode from a sitcom for example, and I enjoy it, I’d like to be able to “record more like this” from that same screen. Via an "upcoming airings" command, or something like it.
Linking to Upcoming Airings from these scenarios has been a long standing issue. We’ll try to work it out soon. UI is hard.
But we know how much this would help.
