Epg just shows channel name

Hi new to channels anytime i load any epg it just shows the channel name on guide. any tips please?

An xmltv file ive tried loads of different ones and all are the same thanks for reply

That is not enough Info we need more no way we can guess what type of XMLTV or M3U you are talking about.

sorry its for iptv local channels freeview channels

For local channels you can map guide data by going to settings, manage next to the source, manage lineup, click the pencil next to the channel and assign the corresponding channel to it.
