Episodes not playing

I have a series that has been recording for about 2 seasons and decided to start watching tonight. When I selected the first episode from the library, it did not play and instead jumped to the next episode which also did not play and jumped to the next, then the next, then the next, and so on all they way until it reached the most recent episode and decided to play. I was able to get around this by selecting to watch on Apple TV from the iOS app. I’m not sure if what I’m describing makes sense, so please let me know if anyone has experienced this before.

Try restarting the app by clicking TV/Home twice and swiping up on Channels
