Error Playback- HDHR

I have a DABL OTA channel that I’m having issues with. The weird thing is it’s a sub-channel and I have no apparent issues with other channels from the same station.

I’m using a playlist from channels on most of the sets in the house. So the client I’m using is Tivimate instead of the channels client. On that it won’t play at all, I decided to try playing on my iPad using the channels app. It does play but I looked at the log and I’m still getting an error message.

2021/03/30 20:40:23.548328 [TNR] Error during live stream for ch54.4 WXTX-4: write tcp 192.168.50.205:8089->192.168.50.225:50922: write: broken pipe

This is error when using channels app. The error message without putting them side by side looks similar when using the other client. The difference being is it doesn’t actually play the station.

Appreciate any push in the right direction to fix this. I thought it was a Tivimate issue and maybe it is? I just don’t understand what’s happening.

Thanks!

There are signal errors:

Our player is built for OTA and knows how to ignore/correct errors.

Interesting - wonder why the other sub-channels are not affected? Here’s a log from me going through several of them just now.

At least that explains why it works in your app vs theirs. I’m just unclear about why I’m getting errors on that sub channel.

Thanks!

Had the same issue. In my case power supply was bad. SD replaced no cost.

Interesting, it just affected one sub channel and not the others?

I’ve got more than one HDHR, so I’ll try swapping the power supplies as a test.

Thanks for the suggestion on a cause.
