Error setting profile level/property [ENC HLS]

I run server on Apple Silicon Mac mini M1 hooked up to my TV with HDMI. I watch recordings locally on the 127.0.0.1 server configuration page. I notice that transcoding of recordings viewed locally cannot be viewed (and has to be restarted often to view) or is delayed with playback slow to start. Is this a known issue with Apple Silicon or for other servers? Logs below show the delayed transcoding.

Out of curiosity, since you have an M1 Mac, why don’t you run the iPad version of the app for viewing? I would think that would give you a much better experience.

I totally forgot about that! I'll give it a shot. I also encounter this error quite a bit in the browser, but I don't see any log messages related to it: "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported."
