When trying to watch live TV on a Mac via Chrome, I get the following error in the viewing window:
"The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported."
Chrome is up to date. Latest pre-release is downloaded. No issues when I run troubleshooting
When I watch live streams via Safari browser, no issues.
Any ideas?

SOMETHING changed in the Chrome browser during one of the last couple of updates this past month. That caused it, I'm sure, but so far I don't know exactly WHAT the change was that caused it. Just be aware that it's now happening to a lot of us, and not just you. Maybe it's their inclusion of the Gemini A.I.
P.S. I just switched to watching in FireFox, and that never fails.
At least not that error. I have other problems watching live and recorded in Brave, EDGE and Firefox.
BUT
They don't support the web browser as a client, so you won't be hearing anything from the developers.
