Error with remote access from all platforms (Shield server)

Hi all. I usually only use Channels on my ShieldTV which also runs the DVR server. Today I was trying to access it from my iPhone (and also tried on Roku) on a different network. Once I connect and authorize, it shows me all my channels, etc But when I try to playback any channel it get text-wall of an error that starts:

Could not fetch playlist: https://massivestring of lettershere.u.channelsdvr.net:8089/devices/ANY/channels/2.1/hls/master.m3u8?bitrate=8000&session=massive string of letters here that fills my screen.

Any idea how to diagnose this?

Does it work in a browser on my.ChannelsDVR.net

You can check the dvr log for the error message.

Thanks for the reply. I cannot reach my DVR settings at that link. It tries to foward, but times out and fails.
