+1 that Gotham isn't working anymore, it won't authenticate. But I also can't get SNY to work either anymore, along with MLB Network. There's no epg for these channels and they aren't working.
I've got version v4.10.0
Hey everyone, sorry about the bugs!
Unfortunately I'm dealing with a medical situation that will sideline me for a while. Not sure when I'll be able to start looking at some of these
Get well soon and listen to your doctor
Get well son and take care of yourself.
Just a heads up to anyone experiencing this or something similar:
My linear stations seem to break one-by-one over several days until I restart the container. While you can write your own cron job to restart the container, I did find a simple lightweight container in and of itself to just run a daily reset:
The Stack would look like this:
services:
restart-notifier:
image: index.docker.io/deduard/tools:restart-notifier-latest
container_name: restart-notifier
volumes:
- /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock

- RUN_ON_STARTUP=${RUN_ON_STARTUP} # i.e., false

- CYCLE_PERIOD=${CYCLE_PERIOD} # i.e., 10000 # INFO: This would be 10 seconds
- TZ=${TIMEZONE:-UTC} # i.e., America/New_York
restart: unless-stopped
Note that Timezone is currently commented out. It does not appear to be working for all users (me included), so you have to use UTC. EDIT: Timezone is now working as of v2.3.4! Otherwise, this is an example of the environment variables:

So this would restart the EPlusTV container at 06:22 UTC, which is 2:22 AM EST 6:22 AM EST.
@bnhf, could be a good OliveTin addition!
This is very helpful for getting most of the channels back.
There still seems to be a persistent issue getting the playlists for SNY, YES and the Bally Sports Channels (MiLB, Banana Ball & Bally Poker) even after a restart. I was hoping that this would be an interim solution for them as well, but no luck on that front.
Thanks again for the tip on keeping most of the channels alive.
I am and am using the mlbserver docker for SNY. It just had no channel guide so I had to separate it out to add my own guide info. I also have fubotv, so I can get YES through the vlc-bridge-fubo docker.
The EPlusTV configuration for these channels is just much cleaner for SNY and for the vlc-bridge-fubo docker I am worried about everything eventually having DRM.
You can use mlbserver for YES and SNY. It has guide info as well. Are you getting blank guide info? It works great on my end, I watch the Yankees all the time and the Mets when no other games are on lol.
For the linear SNY on mlbserver I was getting a blank guide and could never figure it out after trying many different configuration setups for the m3u. I thought that mlbserver only had implementations for channels that were carried by MLB.tv, so I was unaware any way to watch YES through that. I will have to read through the documentation again.
Now I'm confused. Do you have the mlb.tv package that has all of the teams and not just a single team? Oh wait, you want to watch other programming on YES and not just games?
I have the full mlb.tv package + an SNY subscription through mlb.tv. Becasue of this I get the actual SNY channel through mlb.tv. That is where the guide data was not working. I do not get the Yankees games on mlb.tv because they are blacked out but can watch on fubo and the vlc-bridge-fubo docker as YES network is carried there.
For the linear SNY on mlbserver I was getting a blank guide and could never figure it out
You are correct — there is no linear YES through mlbserver, and no linear channel guide data either. (Just games, pregames, and postgames.)
Sounds like you have the mlbserver SNY stream linked to Gracenote SNY guide data, which is the correct configuration.
Perfect. Thanks for confirming.
Does the mlbserver NYM stream pick up WPIX games too when it's on MLB.tv or is it only the SNY stream 24/7?
Usually it will include the team not the network. I've watched Roku, prime, and national feeds before.
If you are in the Mets market and you subscribe to SNY, I think you are only entitled to Mets games airing on SNY.
If you are outside the Mets market and you subscribe to MLBTV, you should get all Mets games (unless your location is subject to a national blackout or a local blackout for the opposing team).
I'm running into a similar issue trying to set up a pass to record every Missoula PaddleHeads baseball game on FloSports. Channels will only record the first game in the series and it thinks the next games (even on different days) are episodes it has already recorded, and skips them.
If I understand your post correctly, Channels doesn't have enough information in the guide XML passed from EPlusTV. Is there any way to reconfigure EPlusTV or Channels to remedy this, or would I need to create a shim to rewrite the EPlusTV before it's passed to Channels?
