Sometimes if you open it in Safari it'll use HLS and not have DRM if you're lucky. If you're unlucky it'll use HLS + Fairplay
Sadly its fairplay they accounted for that too.
Not sure if it’s the right thread but what would be the correct gracenote ID for the UFC events ?
Seeing these errors for the ESPN NFL+ game tonight:

The game is in the guide on channel 8000, and that's all that's in the E+ logs.
Is anyone else having trouble using Gotham Sports? I was able to login using the new web UI and authenticate my TV provider and got it working. But a few days later my recording fails. If I log back into the Web UI and reauthenticate everything will work again for a day or so. Any idea as to what I can do to make this work more dependently?
Here is what my log says:

Is it possible to get live golf content from Peacock into E+?
Thanks! This is such a great tool! One of my favorite capabilities associated with Channels.
No, everything on Peacock is DRM protected
Bummer
Any response to this? It makes the container unreliable. I really appreciate the work but this is a bad bug.
What version are you on? If you see that try restarting the container and see if it works
There is a GitHub issue that has found the same thing. The fix for now (until I can update) is to restart your container every 24 hours
Restarting works, but as I said this is a bad bug because you don't know when it happens and so it makes it unreliable.
Are you talking about the NFL+ bug or the Gotham one?
Thanks @m0ngr31, I think your response was intended for my question regarding Gotham, and restarting the container does fix it, but each time I also then futz around with the TV authentication toggle until that link appears asking me to reauthenticate, only then am I confident to leave it alone. Do I need to do this each time too?
Also, does anyone know an automated way to restart a container each day? I'm using Portainer on a Synology if that matters.
NFL+ bug
Not sure if it's related, but several times I've had my EPlusTV TNF stream (Amazon via NFL) drop partway through. This past Thursday it dropped after about 2 hours and 18 minutes. I do see some "401 Unauthorized" errors in the log, which I'll send by private message. I was not watching the stream live, just recording.
No, it's a stupid bug with the Adobe auth token. You don't need to re-auth with your TV provider, just restarting the container should fix it: Gotham token issues · Issue #125 · m0ngr31/EPlusTV · GitHub
I know what the issue is, I just haven't had a chance to sit down and fix it. Hopefully this weekend...
Is it just TNF/Amazon that cause issues? I do remember that the Prime token refresh was the most frustrating part of the token handling for NFL. I will investigate this some. @tonywagner your logs show a 401, but it seems to be from when it's trying to get the schedule, not from playback.
I would expect to see some playback issues, but it's still strange. Someone pointed out to me that Amazon simulcasts the games on Twitch.tv. I wonder if I could grab that as an alternative (assuming no DRM)
ccEPG works with peacock but not live events yet, as something like this will have to work alongside a working ccEPG
I pushed up a change to try and fix the Gotham token issue.
Thanks, I just restarted the container and updated it to the latest version 4.1.1. Reauthenticated everything, and it's working now. I'll report back in a few days to confirm if my Gotham Sports recordings continue to work.
