ESPN+ & FOX Sports with Custom Channels via EPlusTV

Never mind: I found this helpful post in this forum, which worked! ESPN+ with Custom Channels - #154 by timstephens24

However, for some reason, I am getting the "Event Will Start Soon" for every single game that I know are Live. Not sure why. Something to do with "failed to parse stream"? Here is the most recent log in my Synology docker:

That startup video is generated by the docker container to provide video to the IPTV server while the program is extracting video and streaming it. It takes about 20 seconds. The developer should probably change the wording to, "Your stream will start soon." If you record the event, you can join it much quicker (after the first 20 seconds).

For me, the actual video / stream never starts. It remains “will start soon” permanently

Make sure your login credentials are correct and make sure no quotes are around the username and password. At least that did it for me.

Thanks for your help. I confirmed my ESPN username and password multiple times. Still getting the permanent "Event will Start Soon" screen. And the docker logs show "failed to parse the stream" every single time

Post your command. Which system you on?

Hey... if you dont mind me asking... how are you getting NHL network?

Also, change your password to not include any special characters such as @, #, etc.

Docker is on Synology DMS (latest version), 720+. I don't know how / where to access the command.

Password does not have special characters. My username with ESPN+ is my email, so it does have @ in it. Maybe that's the issue, let me see if I can change to something else...

I doubt it. My user is my email. Do you put quotes around user/pass?

No quotes. I enter them under "environment" section of the Synology docker

Actually I had to try a bunch of different things I found on this thread and I don't really know which one I used. I should have paid closer attention to that. I still don't think I have it correct because I have to restart the docker container often.

On a different subject, how did u get nhl network?

I noticed everytime I try to watch ESPN Plus on Channels, I get an automatic email from ESPN with a one-time passcode. I am thinking that's what is preventing my stream from actual playing anything ("Event will start soon" remains permanently)

Was anyone ever able to get this running on apple silicon?

You can ignore the ACCESS_URI I believe. The default is to allow access.

anyone having issues with eplus not being added to a live event after adding it to show live tv events?

Have you found a way around the one time passcode? I had ESPN Plus working last fall and winter and just tried today. I am no longer able to get it working and I just updated the docker image to the latest. I noticed today that I am also getting the email every time I try to start a ESPN channel with a one time passcode. ON the screen I have "Event will start soon" showing. I am assuming it is waiting for the onetime passcode but no way to enter it.

I logged into the web interface and am able to watch the live shows from both the espn website and also Hulu. (Hulu shows me the ESPN Plus live events being played) I do not receive a prompt to enter a onetime passcode in any of my browser session and I also tried a in private mode which also works for the live events.

I gave up on this a while ago

Was looking to add this to Channels and doing some research when I came across this thread? Is ESPN+ not working anymore? Before I start trying to setup, if something has changed and it can't be used, would save me some time and frustration. TIA.
