Is there a way to do that? This would help me tremendously with filtering out non-live sports events from my EPG.

Why don’t you just check the live check box. That will only include channels that are Airing items with the live tag.
Thanks, I tried that method, but toggling Live filtered out all channels. Is this due to incomplete data provided by my EPG? If so, does Channels offer any workarounds?
Sure. If your third party guide data doesn’t tag live events as live, then Automatic Channels wouldn’t pull any in when using this rule.
