Experimental: Local Networks (NBC, ABC, FOX) in some major metros via TVE

So you lost ABC now?

Does KFXK 51 stream 7x24 on https://www.fox.com/live/channel/KFXK/
I'm surprised if it does as both KFXK and my Fox affiliate KTXL are owned by Nexstar Media Group.
If I try to view mine on the website it says "Regular programming will resume at 8:00 PM"

abcgo: 1037:Unable to retrieve required files for playback. Please try again in a few minutes.

Yes fox works with my sudddenlink credentials

So if you go to https://www.fox.com/live/channel/KFXK/
It's playing Hell's Kitchen right now?

If non-Fox O&O stations work, then please add KTXL Fox 40
https://www.nexstar.tv/stations/ktxl/

Doesn't look like any of those stations actually have 24/7 feeds on fox.com/live. If it says "Regular programming will resume at 8pm" then it won't work with Channels.

Thanks, that's what I thought.

Why would @mavsfan815 KFXK-51 be any different? https://www.nexstar.tv/stations/kfxk/
I would think that station would display "Regular programming will resume at 7:00 PM" (for CDT or MDT timezones)

And @snsells WJZY-46 https://www.nexstar.tv/stations/wjzy/

There's no difference. None of those work.

That would be a bad experience if they showed in the guide since only the primetime shows would appear and the rest would be blocks displaying "Local Programming" with the show image displaying "SIGN OFF".

For an idea of what it would look like, go to zap2it.com click the button [Change Provider or Time Zone] Select a timezone and look at channel 4 FOX

If any intrepid souls want to test using a Custom Channel m3u, here are the gracenote tvc-guide-stationid's that correspond to the schedule you see on zap2it
10212 FOX Eastern time
17084 FOX Central time
32766 FOX Mountain time
12376 FOX Pacific time
55215 FOX Alaskan time

Starting today, I am seeing two NBC TVE channels both with number 6000. One has guide data and the other doesn't.

Yeah, I noticed this as well. In my case both NBC slots have guide data. I'm using Channels Collections and I've removed (only one is in the collection) NBC and it's gone from my Guide. I add it back (just the one) and two show up in the collection. Odd.

Glad to know it wasn't just me.

Need diagnostics. Might be getting confused trying to pull in telemundo. Do you get TELE on nbc.com/live? I don't here so not fully tested.

@tmm1 This is what I am now getting on ABC

I tried and yes, I receive Telemundo via nbc.com/live

I, too, am seeing the double NBC as of last evening. I believe you are right about it being related to Telemundo, as this is what I saw when checking the lineup:

(I also submitted logs under 4ebd280b-fa8d-4210-a0d1-68af16f8f3cb.)

Upgraded to 2021.09.08.0447 and am seeing the double NBC, too. Although since both are 6000 and I use Channel Collections, it does not seem to be doing anything aside from being a second listing in the lineup:

Where is everyone seeing two NBC's?
I only see one in Manage Lineup, Rescan Channels and the Guide.
I don't remember ever seeing a TVE Telemundo channel (although I get it with my Xfinity lineup).

Ah, I see from the images you posted it's appearing after channel 6323 TUDN. Guessing that was the reference to Telemundo. I'm not seeing that on my two TVE installs. Maybe because they're both v2021.09.06.2051

I'm seeing 3 NBC's in the Guide and Quick Guide of my Channels Collection.

I'm on ver. 2021.09.08.0447

After updating one of my TVE installs to 2021.09.08.1831 I'm seeing the same issue.
Two 6000 - NBC's in Manage Lineup and Rescan Channels, but only one in the Guide.
And yes, I do have a local Telemundo station in my Xfinity tier and can watch it at http://nbc.com/live

@tmm1
Let me know if there's anything I can provide to help on this issue.
I have two DVR servers using a TVE source.
One without the doubled-up NBC on v2021.09.06.2051
One with the doubled-up NBC on v2021.09.08.1831
