OK, with Locast gone, I lost my SF local channels. Now my 6000 NBC is Chicago, even though I'm in CA. I fired up my VPN and set it for SF, still, Chicago 6000 NBC, changed it to Los Angeles, the same thing. I don't want my local NBC (Sacramento) on 6000, I want SF. Im on the latest Beta, reset guides, reset channel lineup, restarted etc.
Hi is there by chance a step by step on how to do this? What is the bottom of web UI? Really appreciate help
There is a Web Management console for the server. The easiest way to access it if you’re not tech savvy is to go to my.channelsdvr.net. At the very bottom of the settings page you will see the locals via TVE option.
NBC from Spectrum in Dallas not working. Shows video but very slow and no audio. All other major stations work fine.
Did you try Rescan New Channels or Rescan All Channels?
Yep now ABC isn't working...I miss locast...
So you lost ABC now?
Does KFXK 51 stream 7x24 on https://www.fox.com/live/channel/KFXK/
I'm surprised if it does as both KFXK and my Fox affiliate KTXL are owned by Nexstar Media Group.
If I try to view mine on the website it says "Regular programming will resume at 8:00 PM"
abcgo: 1037:Unable to retrieve required files for playback. Please try again in a few minutes.
Yes fox works with my sudddenlink credentials
So if you go to https://www.fox.com/live/channel/KFXK/
It's playing Hell's Kitchen right now?
Doesn't look like any of those stations actually have 24/7 feeds on fox.com/live. If it says "Regular programming will resume at 8pm" then it won't work with Channels.
Thanks, that's what I thought.
Why would @mavsfan815 KFXK-51 be any different? https://www.nexstar.tv/stations/kfxk/
I would think that station would display "Regular programming will resume at 7:00 PM" (for CDT or MDT timezones)
And @snsells WJZY-46 https://www.nexstar.tv/stations/wjzy/
There's no difference. None of those work.
That would be a bad experience if they showed in the guide since only the primetime shows would appear and the rest would be blocks displaying "Local Programming" with the show image displaying "SIGN OFF".
For an idea of what it would look like, go to zap2it.com click the button [Change Provider or Time Zone] Select a timezone and look at channel 4 FOX
If any intrepid souls want to test using a Custom Channel m3u, here are the gracenote tvc-guide-stationid's that correspond to the schedule you see on zap2it
10212 FOX Eastern time
17084 FOX Central time
32766 FOX Mountain time
12376 FOX Pacific time
55215 FOX Alaskan time
50254 FOX Hawaiin time
Starting today, I am seeing two NBC TVE channels both with number 6000. One has guide data and the other doesn't.
Yeah, I noticed this as well. In my case both NBC slots have guide data. I'm using Channels Collections and I've removed (only one is in the collection) NBC and it's gone from my Guide. I add it back (just the one) and two show up in the collection. Odd.
