I frequently have my parents over and they are able to work with channels easily enough but one challenge is that they don't know the channel numbers. I'm looking to create a one page list of the channel names and numbers and I'm wondering if there is an easy way to get this out of the channels server with an API call or something.
Probably could be easily pulled out of the m3u export link with a little editing
How about if you create a Channels Collection of just the channels they watch?

I’ll look into this, I haven’t taken a deep dive into all the features of channels yet.
You could bring up the channel editor in the web UI and copy/paste text then edit.
Or hit the API /devices/ANY/channels and copy/paste json then edit.
Or run a curl | jq combo that gives exactly what you want.
Lots of ways to get the channel list.
AFAIK there is no "Print your channel list" button available.
