Fail to add Xfinity-TVE

Sorry for the delay, just had a chance to test this out today, works fine on a macos install but still fails in docker. I also tried switching from the nvidia docker to the tve docker with no difference.

Question for those having problems as I often do. Are you using a password manager or copy/pasting your login info? I just tried by manually filling it and it worked finally so I’m wondering if that’s coincidence or the issue.

Also admin- please add edit password option (if feasible) for the future as preciously requested. Many of us change passwords frequently.

I've been experiencing this same frustrating issue since Sunday, too (saw it about 3 weeks ago when a 48 hour pause fixed it(. Neither of the last two betas helped (currently 2020.11.11.0618 on a Synology x64). Each time I see the same invalid password screenshot, with a subsequent login directly to Comcast prompting for a password reset. I've waited the suggested 48 hours both times. This feels as though it really is a case of channels remembering and sending the prior password, but I've seen no way to confirm this. Is there a particular location where this password is stashed in a config file (plaintext), or can we at least force wipe this file to rule out a bad password attempt as opposed to some secret Comcast voodoo?

Update: THIS time, a 2 day wait worked and Xfinity via TVE is now authenticating. I don't know if it was the wait, or the fact that I changed my password back a second time to the original one from before Thursday's failure. This is really getting old.

Yup, I havn't been able to get it working again despite numerous password resets and waiting two days. It's forcing me to cancel my sub and look for another solution.

I get this error when trying to add Xfinity. The user account is just a viewer account, so I'm guessing I need the primary user to help me past this screen elsewhere, perhaps signing into their account?

Please click Support > Submit Diagnostics on the dvr web UI

If you go to nbc.com/live and sign in there does the same thing show up? Can you dismiss it there then sign into the dvr again?

I was able to get around it by using chrome on my android phone for the setup while simultaneously signing in the stream app for android tv. How related all those things are with it working are above my skill level, but it worked.

I have the same problem. I can sign in to nbc.com/live but I cannot Verify Xfinity.
I submitted my Diagnostics 12/01/2020.
