Failed to add Xfinity-TVE source on new install

Was afraid this would happen.
I installed a new Channels DVR using the new Synology DSM 7.0 package.
First thing I did was update to the latest prerelease v2022.01.25.0145 even before selecting the recording directory.
It's failing at NBC.

Verified I could login and strean at nbc.com/live and tried again. Same problem.

Restarted the Synology package and still same problem.

Clicked and Held the Login button, no help, same problem.

And finally tried a Private tab in Brave browser connecting with secure https. Same problem.

Reinstalled using v2022.01.21.2357 and still doesm't work. Giving up for tonight.

Tried again this morning using stable release 2022.01.13.2139 which results in context deadline exceeded.
Tried after updating to latest 2022.01.27.0906 and get Cable provider authentication failed.

Got it working but not sure what did it.
I closed all browser windows.
Opened Firefox and logged into my Xfinity account.
Opened a second tab in Firefox and logged into nbc/live and paused the video.
Opened a third tab in Firefox and added the Xfinity-TVE source to Channels DVR.
Source was added, just had to rescan 6043 AETV authn: 401 Unauthorized: Data not found
Enabled experimental local networks and they were scanned and added.

Submitted diagnostics in case anything useful in them.

Just realized I also made a change in my router configuration that may have fixed it.
While checking to make sure my DNS servers were still correct I found a couple settings that looked like they may cause issues, so I changed them.

Enable DoS protection: This option helps prevent malicious attacks over the Internet.

  • TCP reset attack protection: Under RST packet limit per second, set the maximum number of RST packets to receive per second.

This was set to 1 by default, increased to 5

  • ICMP flood attack protection: Under ICMP flood attach protection, set the maximum number of ICMP packets to receive per second.

This was set to 1 by default, increased to 5
