We need to get you guys a better name. Everytime my subscription renews I think my credit card has been compromised.

Lol. The first time I saw it on my bank statement I freaked for a few seconds too. Fortunately the amount clicked in my brain so I did a google and went "oh yeah, that's right." Of course Fancybits is at the top of every community page here, but that fact didn't immediately click in my brain on first glance. Lol.
Fancy Bits LLC is the name of the company that makes Channels app and DVR.
It should mention "channels dvr" in the CC charges. Can you copy/paste or screenshot how the charge appears and what kind of card you're using?
That doesnt tell story where the name Fancy Bits comes from. The Channels DVR fanvoys want to know.
How do I get FancyBits on my CC. I just get boring Channels Plus

My Apple card just says Entertainment - "Channels"
Past card i have used, BOA card, says "CHANNELS PLUS HTTPSGETCHANNVA"
Mine appears as either CHANNELS DVR or CHANNELS PLUS.
Since I started my subscription 4 years ago, I always get an emailed Receipt from stripe.com.
It shows Fancy Bits as the Biller and Channels Plus as the Product billed for.
About a year ago they started attaching the Invoice and Receipt to the emails.
Yeah, on closer inspection my bank statements do say CHANNELS PLUS. The subject of my email receipts do say Fancybits, but CHANNELS PLUS is mentioned in the body.

I would probably think naughtybits was a legit charge.
This all makes me think of Strip club ATM receipts. They never say Titty Bar. It’s always something like “so & so food and beverage” or “Xavier’s school for gifted ladies”.

It shows as Channels DVR on my credit card. I was really hoping it would say Fancybits so my wife would question it and I could tell her it’s that thing we just got that she really likes.
