FastChannels - FAST Channels aggregator/manager

I added that if we’re not seeing full EPG downloads from a source. Like if it stopped before it finished for any reason

See anything odd with Whale in logs?

*since it using new logic and new database field, maybe upgrading users need to finish a scrape first. Lemme know

Previous logs are gone since I updated.
It scrapes every 720 minutes.
Next scrape will be in 20 minutes.

So far, so good as I got the Prismcast DRM stuff working. Had to set up a reverse proxy for Fastchannels but it worked.

Just scraped. Now I'm seeing a green checkmark

Cool- it probably just needed a fresh run as it’s a new DB field that tracks EPG finish true/false.

I can't get the loopback to work... I've tried every combination of IP/URL http:// and https:// and nothing seems to result in a successful test. What am I missing?

Here’s what mine looks like (again, assuming Prism on same server as FastChannels)

Port 5589 is my PrismCast and 5525 is my FastChannels (normally 5523 this just my test container)

On the PrismCast server, I get "127.0.0.1 refused to connect." for the loopback... everything else looks like your setup.

screen shot your settings pls

same as yours...save for the 5523 vs 5525

looks good. It just occured to me what's likely happening-- do you have Prismcast setup inside a Docker container?

if so, you need to update your compose to show this so loopback works:

network_mode: host

That was it!!! Thank you!

I suspect you won't be the only one with this issue -- I'm going to improve the "test setup" modal to include some better instructions. glad its working!

Excited to give this a try! Related (possibly dumb) question: What happens to ongoing recordings from a Fast Channels source while the container is in the process of being updated? Related question: how to prevent problems with scheduled recordings when channel numbers change as the result of channel additions/deletions?

I suppose a series pass will find a show wherever it might be, when it's "planning," but if, say, channel 7001 becomes 7002 in a shift, will it still record channel 7001 which has become something else? What about a manually queued recording?

Where does someone who isn't chDVRuser go to find this report (or any others of interest?)

Is there any advantage to enabling the HDhomerun Source?

This morning I'm faced with 470 new channels to review, most of which are Roku. Did something happen with the Roku scraper that identified most everything as new?

Edit: Most of them seem to be DRM or Dead.

My Plex has been stuck on Guide Pending for a few days. I have scraped and audited. All my other sources are :heavy_check_mark: Guide. Am I doing something wrong?

@KineticMan Thanks for your great work. I notice some channels from Pluto are missing on my FastChannels that are present on Jon Maddox Pluto for Channels docker, specifically Pickers & Pawn. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks

edit, now Pluto shown no channels or 419 available. I re scrapped etc.

Hover over "guide pending" - does it show you anything?

also, go to logs and filter by Plex - see if anything "off" in the logs.
