Sudden ad break may be normal, I've seen more services starting to do that. You could compare in the official Pluto app if you're watching live
Well, must be a very new thing, i not notice it until recently, like, in the last couple days.
The repeating/skipping back suddenly issue still been around, but only happened maybe one a 1hr episode. Now, multiple time per 1hr episode it seems.
So, something either with Pluto, or with Channels has changed, or both, that is making things worse for me.
Will try comparing to Pluto on web live, but that is about a min or so behind Channels.
Did you have any issues with The Omega Directive episode?
Nope. Not live or recording. So far my first recording of previous episode is the only time it be act up. Go figure. lolz. Now it won’t give me issues when I want it to.
I could watch Jeri Ryan all day. I'm going to have to record some of them...
Unforgettable ep, no issues with sudden ad breaks, but, has jumped back like 10 sec once, then like 10 min once so far.
i'm uploading 2 episodes i just recorded of the twilight zone from pluto. each episode shows the same behavior, the first half is ok then the commercials repeat then the ending is shown. let me see if i have the logs
I have an HDHomerun source from FC stuck on an unresponsive IP. It seems to have been triggered when I migrated my network base IP from 192.168.12 to 192,168.1.
This message appears on the sources page of CDVR.
(1A376B0E)
0 channels on 172.17.0.6
No channels detected on this HDHomeRun.
The above IP gets this error: http://172.17.0.7/ is unreachable.
I finally figured out that I missed changing the IP of the HDHomerun in the FC source config. There is no "Remove" button in this source on the CDVR side. And, deleting and readding it and rescraping it on the FC side didn't help. I've also tried deleting and recreating the database. The actual HDHomerun source works fine.
If you open the Web UI and go to the show and click on Options for the show you will see View Debug Log. That's the log we're looking for. Please also submit diagnostics.
I had the same thing, when I was updating my FastChannels sources, after Fubo DRM'd everything. This random HDHomeRun source appeared with no "remove" button. It eventually disappeared after a few days.
Notice mostly blank guide data fro many Pluto channels now in FASTchannels. Manual refresh not fix it
I don't think I ever had 2FA in there for Amazon? Are you not able to sign-in?
Also, for the premium channels on Amazon - I don't subscribe to any personally so unable to test. I have it set to only scrape everything - and it only saves the channel into FC if it has a "playbackEnvelope." So, straight guessing here- if you subed to other channels, it should scrape those?
looking good here - maybe they had a bad morning.
Pluto is known to drop guide data periodically.
just uploaded the logs. hope this helps
Whenever I'm working from home, I almost always have Star Trek playing in the background all day. Running v5.0.5. I have not seen the continuous play-through during commercials, only the usual occasional jump-back after a commercial break. Yesterday it was on TOS all day, today it's been on ENT.
I've also not had an issue with guide data, but I have in the past. When it did happen, I checked FastChannels guide and the data was there. Redownloading the guide data on Channels usually fixed it, but one time I had to delete the FastChannels sources in Channels and re-add it using FastChannels. Everything was fine after that.
And now all the Star Trek pluto channels are gone from Channels...
I don't understand.
They show in FASTchannels, still in feed, still show as in Lineup in sources in server, even show in my Channels collections as still existing. But, when i view the Guide sorted by the collection, its say no channels match.
Other pluto channels, no data.
They have data on the Pluto TV website.
But FastChannels is not getting any data....even did force refresh.
Had switched in server source settings to HLS, instead of MPEG-TS to see if that affected anything streaming wise, but i can't test anything, when the bloody channels disappear. lol. They were there yesterday.
You did and still do, apparently. I wasn’t able to login with my creds yesterday because I had 2SV enabled. When I tried it yesterday I kept getting an error message with a link to an amazon.com page to enter the OTP. I ended up disabling 2SV and then was able to login. I reenabled 2SV and completely disabled the Amazon source in FC just now to get the exact wording to report here, but after I typed in my creds, FC asked for the OTP. Strange, and as I alluded to in my original comment, I remembered FC asking for the OTP previously.
Re: premium channels, yes, they scrape. I currently sub to a few channels within Prime Video that have live feeds… YES Network, MLB Network, Tennis Channel, and a few movie channels. My biggest complaint with prime video is the lack of DVR or replays, especially for certain sports, but FC and the PC bridge now solves that problem.
FYI, many of the premium channels that have live streams on prime offer free trials, if you ever wanted to test them out yourself.
