Yes, that is what it was, clicked that switch off and no more closed captions.
Now the only other thing that happens is during the first 2 or 3 minutes after tuning any channel is that approximately every 15 seconds, a black screen comes up quickly then goes away. After that time, the video is solid and picture quality is very good. Channel tuning time is around 4-5 seconds.
There are a couple of possibilities here.
First, I would double check that both FastChannels and ah4c are showing they are adb authorized.

Both need to show your device(s) as connected via adb. Green is good for both.
This is great news! Do you think the pixelation was being caused by transcoding issues with the GPU used by your other computer?
Yes, I'd guess that the pixelation was either the gpu itself or the closed captioning not being able to be rendered correctly by it.
Also, it looks like ah4c is not authorized. I've got a recording going on via the FastChannels bridge, so I'll try to authorize it afterward.
In my experience yes, but I've also backed my configuration up to a separate location, just to be safe (and it helped save me some trouble after the Portainer disaster I had early on).
