Another appeal of USB capture cards is that with a relatively modern PC the transcoding impact is very minimal because it's done in hardware. I have one and I'm seeing only a few percent CPU usage when one of these is running. I've also seen no discernible difference in PQ between hardware encoders and USB captures at 1080p.
Absolutely worth trying out because the cost savings are substantial. Don't think I'd run more than a couple of them on USB 3 ports though.

Think I extracted to incorrect location. I’m going to move the (4) files under fastchannels-ah4c-scripts to the fastchannels folder then delete the fastchannels-ah4c-scripts folder and contents.

Do you mean if you try to view channels from the FastChannels guide? If so, that's not possible (at least for now, with bridged channels).

Making a little progress. I got the source back into channels. When I select a channel, it brings up the home screen from the stick. It’s like the Fast Channels player doesn’t initiate.

Such a noobie error. Both tuners working correctly. It’s @mackid1993 fault giving me a webui versus environmental variables. 
Fix the above, and double check your devices are ADB authorized in ah4c (this is in addition to them being ADB authorized in FastChannels):
oh. well, the whole time i thought you were trying to setup the Spectrum scraper (that works with the bridge). I haven't done much with Spectrum TVE, but i can look into it next.

Im migrating all my premium channels off spectrum and replacing with other packages, but keeping spectrum as TVE only with a base level package.
I may need the ah4c bridge , which I haven't configured that yet.
If I can bring in TVE spectrum through fastchannels, my next step is to get my paramount plus subscription channels into CDVR
