FastChannels - FAST Channels aggregator/manager

Just a quick and dirty way to easily see some categorization like Open-TVE, Partial-Specialty, Closed, etc...; no reason implied.

Most of other stuff is informational for testing/development purposes, but more power to you!

For Starz, you can only stream Starz (and maybe Starz Encore) on starz.com. Thats about it

I mean, it's certainly possible - and I have done it slightly with some early TVE providers ... the problem comes in it opens a bag of worms b/c every provider site is different.

but Spectrum is big enough and covers quite a few users, it might be worth at least trying. i'll add to your hitlist.

btw........... i went a little crazy this weekend and knocked out a ton of your requests. you should be happy (until u come up with 5000 more stations).

Excuse my impatience....I built your development branch to test out the 'Amazon auth' fixes. Trying with entering my password still fails....leaving password blank with phone code works. Thanks.

Is SDK27 really necessary for the FastChannels player? I have some FireTV 4K Gen1 sticks (FireOS6, SDK25) and the FC Player won't install with the minimum required SDK27 message.

I don’t believe so. I don’t have an old device to test with, but it’s a super simple program basically just forwards headers to the built-in fire stick player.

So in short, yeah I’ll reduce the requirements You’ll have to wait for the official release though because it’s bundled with the APK.

How do you identify the device's SDK? I have it working fine on a Fire Stick HD 3rd gen, OS 7.7.1.7, but I couldn't find anywhere in settings that shows the SDK.

I just got it from the install error....but here's the doc....

Thanks. Mine installed ok. My stick is
Fire TV Stick - 3rd gen, with Fire OS 7, which according to the chart, is Android 9 and Level 28, so the fact that it works is consistent with the current requirement. However, it's probably worth noting that a 4K stick isn't needed, since at least some non-4K sticks work ok. I just bought a spare to put on an actual TV :tv: :smiling_face:to replace the one I borrowed for FC. IIRC it was about $16.

@KineticMan,

Any progress on signing in to Spectrum Premium source for those of us who do not live in the address where the primary service is located? Reiterating my situation, I pay for my parents subscription at their address and I am an admin user on the account. When I try to signin via FC from home, I see it try to login in 3 times and then get the IDID-4004 error to "try to login from home". This happens whether I try to use my creds or the primary user creds. Thanks.

still unsure how to work around that one...

do you get same results when you use the Sign in with Phone link?

For the Premium source, I don't get a phone link. When I tested with the Spectrum TVE, I did get the link. I then cleared all logins, but still didn't get a link for the Premium source when I tried again.

oh you are right - sorry, that phone sign-in link only applies to TVE sign-ins through Adobe.

let me see if there's any other way.. does watch.spectrum.net work for you at home manually by chance?

If I go directly to watch.spectrum.net, I get the same error message. If I go to spectrum.net and enter my creds, I get the phone link to verify, and then I can watch on watch.spectrum.net.

That’s gonna be tricky my friend. Not sure how/if possible to script that.

I could try a manual login step for you but unsure how it’d refresh automatically since there is 2FA step in there.

Is it possible for a “LIVE” tag to be added to these events? I have a Live Sports channels collection that only populates the corresponding guide with live events from multiple sources.

Thanks for this new feature!

I'm going to try setting up a "standard" user and see if that makes a difference in how the login works.

I see that Justwatch has launched its own FAST service. Also, a buy/rent service and a subscription service. But the FAST service is probably the most interesting to this thread.

I'm not seeing a FAST service nor mention of it in any of the articles; only seeing the On-Demand stuff. SLM has already picked those up as new providers...

... but I might have to do something special to get their deep links (assuming JustWatch's app is actually set up to accept deep links). The streams themselves are DRM, so SLM Streams are out of the question.

EDIT:

Stream Link generation is now working as of SLM v2026.10.21.1113. Haven't tested if they actually open the app, though.
