FastChannels - FAST Channels aggregator/manager

He should have changed the default to every 60 minutes.

OK, hang on, let me do a manual scrape now...
Damn... that was too quick

But it WORKED!!!
Thank you very much

@chDVRuser do you have your FC configured to scrape all the sources every 60 minutes?
Don't want to stress the providers... or will it only stress my server? Not worried if it's just mine but don't want to kill any external hosts...

Yes, all my FC sources are set to scrape every 60 minutes.

OK, got it... just changed mine...Thanks.

I must be blind... how did you get that "Source Health" screen?
I'm looking at all the tabs but I don't see that option?

You have to pay for the in-app feature.
Or just click the link on the Help tab (that I didn't know was a link).
brave_screenshot (3)

OK, got it... all the way at the bottom...
Yeah, I looked at all the other "highlighted" words on the Help page and all the ones at the top weren't links, so I guessed none of them were... hence I missed that last one...

I changed the default to 60 minutes and that did not help. The Pluto channels I have guide issues with are: Pluto TV Military, Pluto TV History, Smithsonian Channel Selects, Bonanza, Beverly Hillbillies, History & Warfare. Also, no ESPN8 the Ocho has guide data for me from any source and Military Heroes, History 365, Garfield, Cartoon Classics, Go Go Gadget, etc. from other sources are missing guide data. I had these issue before and it was related to my ip address. I fixed that and got all of the guide data. Now it's hit or miss

Again, I'm using the in-app player...
I just checked 3 and all have guide data...
I also checked the ESPN8: The Ocho and I see 3 sources... LG, Roku and Samsung...
All 3 had guide info, I won't paste the screenshot... looks like the ones below...

Not really sure what to say... maybe another user like @chDVRuser could post his findings...

Could it be a region thing? My Pluto is set to US East, and UK...
Also, is it possible an account thing... I have my Pluto username/password filled in...

probably overkill btw -- some sources have a long outlook (i think TCL was 24+ hours). i provided a chart awhile ago of some research.

of course it doesn't hurt anything to scrape more

to be clear - some channels simply don't have any epg data from upstream. not sure about these in particular, but it's possible!

Like Waffles said, check in FastChannels first.
Check the source scrape time (mine are all set to 60 minutes)
Make sure you have your Pluto email and password set

Check each channel to see how much guide data each channel has

If you're seeing the guide data in FastChannels, but not in Channels DVR, then set all your Channels DVR sources that use XMLTV to refresh it every hour.

That was my thought.
Rather than try to figure out a value for each source, it's easier to remember every 60 minutes for each FastChannels source and every hour for Channels DVR.

Thank you. I'll try everything suggested. I do, though, have refresh set in both (freechannels and CHDVR) to 60 minutes and I've refreshed/scraped all sources. I'm logged into Pluto as well. I get all of the guide info. when I update the stack but then it goes away on some channels after a day or two.

keep note of when you see that.. it's very possible there is a bug, so any details would be helpful!

If it happens again, check the channels in FastChannels to see if they have scraped epg.

Here's a couple of examples (see the no guide data in CHDVR):

But fine in Freechannels:
